Start bugging vendors about getting proof of insurance for my hall? Do you just call the vendors and ask them to send it to you? Do they send it right to the hall? What's the deal?

I am not sure if all halls require it, but EW gave me a notice when I booked that all vendors performing services at the hall have to provide insurance. Don't worry, I am just as confused as you are!

I think I waited until approx. 6 weeks before the wedding. I asked them all if they were insured when I interviewed them, but the hall didn't require the proof until between 6-8 weeks. But I am a procrastinator, so probably the sooner you do it the better, then the hall will have it on file. I had them send it directly to the hall. I just gave them the address and fax #.

THis is a good reminder..... I hadn't thought of it since we booked and our hall told us it was required!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
