When Do I Have to Start????
Re: When Do I Have to Start????
We were told that Pre-cana has to be completed no later than 30 days before your wedding. We are registered for precana in Nov. for our January wedding.

Re: When Do I Have to Start????
The lady at the church told us that we should do pre-cana this fall (our wedding is in July), but if the woman you are speaking to has no idea, tell her to have the deacon, pastor, priest, etc. call you back to give you details.
Re: When Do I Have to Start????
Different churches do it at different times, my church only did spring and fall. We needed to do it asap (for different reasons), so we had to call around to different churches and this was the case with most or they wouldn't let us do it there because we weren't members of their church. We ended up calling the rockville centre dioceses and they were able to let us do pre cana in one weekend, 9-4 for $250. Maybe you can call them and they can help you out.... but you would pay MUCH less doing it at a church!
Re: When Do I Have to Start????
the diocese should have a schedule out telling the times and places pre-cana is offered. i am dealing with a really cool priest and he recommended the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston - he said everyone who has ever went there had a positive experience and the offer a vast variety of options and times. but...that is just going by his word - i have not researched it myself.

I would think you probably either have to go in the fall or to one of those weekend ones. I finished Pre-Cana in May (we did a 4 week parish program...wanted to get it done)
