Hi ladies....just wondering, if my wedding is on Nov. 25th and the rsvp date is Oct 7th, when should I mail the invites out? TIA

Right before or right after Labor day, factoring about 4 weeks for your guests to respond.

Since your wedding is 11/25, I would normally tell you to mail the invites by 9/25, two months before your wedding.
But since you put an earlier response date, I would send them out no later than 9/7 - giving them one month to RSVP.

Why did you make response date so many weeks before the wedding date. NOrmally I would say 2 months before the wedding but with Oct 7th return date early Sept.

I thought it was a bit too early also, but the lady doing the invitations insisted it was the 'norm' for a holiday weekend wedding and I really had no clue one way or another so I went with it...now I kinda regret it but its already done....

September sounds about right. I sent mine out end of July. I was early but once I had them in my hands, I had to mail them!!!!!

I think it is a good idea to send them out earlier since your wedding falls on Thanksgiving weekend... It gives people a chance to decide if they will make the trip, make travel arrangements, etc. I think 9/7 would be a good day to mail them out!!

I agree - give your guests 4 weeks to respond. If you have anyone overseas, mail their invites a little bit earlier.
