I would send them at least a month before your RSVP.

I'm getting married the same day! (btw, 100 days left exactly!)
I know its probably too early, but I plan on sending mine out next week. I'm too excited to wait any longer and we do have a lot of OOT guests who I want to give ample time to in order to make travel plans, etc.

I think ideally its supposed to be 6-8 weeks beforehand.

If your invites are ready, I see no point in waiting to send them - especially if you have a lot of out of towners who need to book airfare... most people make travel arrangements when they get the invitation even if you've sent save the dates months ahead of time!

My wedding is Oct 4th and my RSVP date is Sept 8th. We're sending out invites in mid-July which is 1.5 months before the RVSP date and 2.5 months before the wedding date. We have quite a few people from Europe, as my fiance's enire family lives in Ireland so we want to give them ample time.
