On average, when do vendors raise their prices for the year? I have heard a variety of answers, such as... 'In September' 'In January' 'They don't really raise their prices, you'll see'
We are getting married in 2006, and I would be SO angry at myself if I waited until this time next year to book a vendor and realize I would have received a lower price had I booked sometime between now and the end of this year! Thanks!

Re: When do prices go up?
I don't know if there's a rule to this, but I know I booked Duet last November and in January the same package went up $700. I would say that you should go ahead and book what you can now, because the prices aren't going to go down. Some vendors may keep the same prices from year to year, but there's no way to know for sure. I'm pretty sure that so long as you book before the prices go up, than you are locked at that price. I would guess that all of your vedors will increase in price at some point before your wedding.

Re: When do prices go up?
many places and vendors we looked at raised their prices in January because it is the start of a new year the $$$ raises for the year like now you are getting 2004 prices for 2005
