i just posted this on another thread, but i'm really bummed that the wedding and HM are over. i've always been the type of person to get super nostalgic about things, but this is worse than usual! i just keep wishing it was a month ago.
i don't have any regrets and wouldn't want to change anything. i just want to do it all over again!
anyone else feel this way? when will it go away??

sorry you're feeling this way ...
i had a diff kind of post-wedding depression ... i was just extremely unhappy about the 9 months of engagement hell i had to go through (all that drama, and money spent) ... anyway, i do feel a lot better about it now ... i think it just goes away a little bit at a time.
maybe you should give yourself a project to do to keep your mind off of it ... like work on the albums, or even something around the house.

I felt EXACTLY the same way as you, and I couldn't understand why more people didn't feel this way! I'm also naturally really nostalgic, but this post-wedding was different. It was pretty bad for about a month, and then started getting slowly better. By two/two and half months out, I was pretty much over it. It just takes some time.

I felt this too! I woke up for weeks feeling like something was missing. Its felt weird not having anything to plan and nothing on a to-do list! I watched my wedding video like every weekend. It finally went away after a month. No worries, you'll be back to normal soon!!!

I feel the same way too! We had the most perfect day and I wish we could just relive it over and over again. It also doesn't help when friends and family feel the same way as I do. Every day someone still is talking to me about the wedding!
I'm sure it will fade soon enough though!
ETA: I forgot to mention, it also doesn't help when we watch The Office. We used The Office them song to be introduced to. Every time it comes on, DH does the whole 'Introducing for the first time as husband and wife' thing.

I don't think it ends. At first, I was numb and unhappy about things, but then I started realizing how much I miss my dress and the feelings and the food and the excitement. It went too fast and now I'm totally upset about it. Over two months and I still have the blues.

Omg I just had my RD tonight and I'm already starting to feel sad that the wedding is going to be here and gone, lol and I haven't even gotten married yet. I'm totally gonna be the same way after my wedding.

your not alone I swear I feel the same way! like...now what? lol ...and I havent even gone on a honeymoon yet! I keep saying I wish it was two weeks ago, but what can you do, ya cant turn back time...I'm hoping it will go away when I get my proofs and video

you are deff not alone. it stinks. i miss EVERYTHING about my wedding, i had a blast and would do it all over in a heart beat if it wasnt soo much money.
what really sucks is i work next door to lillettes and seeing all the girls going into try and dresses and then seeing them walk out with their dresses, is really bad for me. i get depressed everytime i see it.
actually last night DH and I went to king kullen and they had a bo-k of red gerbers(my flowers for the wedding) and i had to buy them bc they reminded me of the wedding.
and these shows dont help at all. esp we watched that 4 weddings the other day with the riviera on it, and it made me even more sad.
i hope this goes away soon, no one tells you about the post wedding blues!
