So do you hold it up while your are dancing? What about the long veil?

I don't think I'm going to hold my gown... I think I'm just going to let it lay behind me.... But then again, I might be freaking out that it'll be filthy! We'll see when the time comes!

but then again, everytime I've been in my room at JT, it's been absolutely immaculate!

I am going to bustle mine before the first dance. It is way to long to dance with it.

I took my train off after the first dance. DH and I are not big dancers. So I did not worry about moving around too much

I was planning on doing it before the first dance because 1)it looks so pretty bustled & 2)Isn't it really really annoying to dance having to hold your dress? Plus I really don't want the maitre'd (sp?) doing that to me in the middle of the reception room after the first dance.

i think i'll do it before the first dance- seems much easier to move with it bustled already.

I plan on bustling before the first dance too. I'd be afraid to get it dirty (though I'd hope the floor is clean) and if I try to hold it, I'd probably wind up on the floor!

Before the first dance, after all the pictures. I was so glad my gown was bustled before our first dance as I could not walk so forget dancing.

I did mine before we were announced at the reception, but after we finished all of the formal pictures. I didn't want to worry about either one of us tripping on it during the first dance!

my train is detachable and i was planning on taking it off before the first dance (although my ultra-italian momma might have something to say about it)!!!!

I will bustle mine before the first dance. I don't want to have to leave the party to go bustle it afterwards

I don't want to bust my butt, so I'll bustle it before the first dance, but after pics

I bustled mine before I walked in. I didn't want to hold it while I was dancing but most brides do it after.

I'm bustling mine before the first dance. We're doing a waltz that we had choreographed (big ballroom dancers, FI and I) and I don't think I could carry it off with the train...
