When do you get results of 20 week sono?

When do you get results of 20 week sono?

If something is wrong do they typically notify you within a few days after your sono?

I would think they tell you right then and there. Everytime I've gone for a sono I always have a brief consultation session immediately after with the Dr where we discuss everything he saw in the sono.

I had to go to a radiology department, it is not done in my doctor's office, but i would think the sono tech would review it with one of the on-site radiologists. After she was done she told me to wait in the waiting room and she would let me know when i could leave. She came back 5-10 min later and said'OK, you're good to go' Does that mean everything os OK, or tat she got all the pictures that seh needed. I should of asked, I am usually so on the ball with all of this stuff, but I was too excited about finding out the sex that I totally lost my concentration. Iusually ask 1 millsion questions, and I can't remember how the results of my last 2 pregnancies were handled. Oh well, I have an appt with my doc on Monday.

They told me at my 20 week that I had a blood clot. They told me right there in the office and I made an appointment for a month later. If they didn't tell you anything I would say everything is fine. If you had your sono done outside you could always call your doctor on Monday to just follow up. Also make sure everything was sent to your doctors office. They never sent my paperwork and my doctor was pissed (at the techs, not me).

I am pretty sure they would have told you right there.

My 20 week sonogram was last week,
the tech did it first and then told me she would go in and discuss results with Dr. and then he would come in and look and talk to me.

All the dr said was that I was measuring at 20 weeks
what the heart rate was, bc I asked,
and that everything was perfect!!!

then they will send the results to your regular dr. (if they didnt do the sonogram - mine doesnt)

My dr. didnt get the results yet bc I went a few days after.
but he was not concerned.
