When do you get your marriage license?

1 month prior? 2 months?

Is there a limit? How early can you go?

I just got mine on Friday! I thought you had to do it within 30 days of the wedding but I believe I read while I was there that you can get it within 60 days.

A marriage license is only good for 60 days and you have to wait at least 24 hrs after applying for one to get married for you can get it any time between 60 days out and two days before the wedding.
