I was thinking the end of may. I don't need a lot of work done. Just need cups to be sewn. But the length is fine. What do you think?

Jen, it is hard to go by me. I went for my first fitting in Feb and I am going for my second fitting in July.

I think it depends on your tailor and salon. I just had my first fitting; the next is towards the end of June and the final is about a week before the wedding.

I had my first fitting in March (all I had done was the cups and the bustle). I went back in April for the final fitting...but then they called and now I have to go back Thursday (3 days before the wedding) for the final final fitting before they press the gown.
Give yourself time. They changed the bustle twice on my dress.

I went in April for my first, the only thing they are doing is adding cups, and doing the bustle!
I go for #2 June 12th. and then I pick up the week of my wedding!

My first was in April - I guess about 2 1/2 months before the wedding. My second was a month later (last week). Go now! They're taking my hem up again and they're making an alteration to the neckline that didn't look necessary until they adjusted the straps.
