My dress is not in yet - when do they usually come in and when do you start going for fittings?? (i need to know so I know when to start my diet )

I just ordered my dress on 11/13/04 and my 1st fitting is 3 months before my wedding date.

You should be fine. I would start looking by January though. I never thought I would buy mine as early as I did, but I am very happy I did, bc now it's discontinued, so if I waited I would have missed out on it!

Wow, some of you girls are starting very early. My first fitting is Feb 11th and I'm getting married April 3rd. Because Feb is a short month, it's about 6 weeks before my wedding and I'm freaking out that that's too far away!

Don't worry..... My wedding in on 9-23-05... I just found the dress I think I'm going to order..... I was told the latest I should order is February... So you should start looking, but you have enough time.

my wedding is in august they told me late june it should be in. who knows.. So i guess i have to go when it comes in if it comes in that late. i guess i have to play it by ear

My dress came in last week. My first fitting will be in January. Since my dress needs very little alterations (not even a hem!), I am waiting until the end of January in the hopes of losing a little more weight before then.
