i would,then if you find something that has to be specially ordered then you have the time.. .

Definitely! Earlier is always better I think. If you didn't want to bring them home, the jeweler could hold them for you until the wedding gets closer. I would start looking especially if you aren't sure what you want.

Im getting married in October and Im going in July to get the wedding bands.

Just a heads up! If you're planning on going to the diamond district in NYC, be advised that, that's when most of the retailers there go on vacation.
