when do you make seating cards/charts and pick tables?

when do you make seating cards/charts and pick tables?
is this something you do @ the very end right before your wedding since you have to wait for everyone to RSVP?
i feel like waiting until the last minute will make it stressful but i am planning on making a seating chart so i am hoping the people who makes these will be used to working on a time crunch

yes technically you don't even start the seating arrangements until after all the RSVPs have been collected. We did kinda start the seating early by putting people into groupings of who we felt (if they were coming) would be sitting with or near each other. It will help make the process a little quicker when we actual do it.

This is what we did as well. Obviously you can't make decisions until you know who will be attending. But of course, family and such can be arranged. I wish we could do it sooner b/c I'm on vacation for spring break and would love to get the seating arranged at that time!!

i hate the assigning seat process!! we had so many people who we didn't want to put at certain tables or even on the same side of the room lol.. i was so frustrated i was going to say find your own!

we did it after the rsvp's came in. it was not as stressful as everyone made it seem. at least for us it wasnt
