When do you meet with your venue's bridal consultant?

When do you meet with your venue's bridal consultant?
We booked our venue last weekend and the woman who was doing the contract with us said she would be the point person for us for any future questions and things like that. Do bridal consultants from venues generally email back and forth to their customers from the signing of the contract? Or only until things get closer to the actual wedding date?

When do you meet with your venue's bridal consultant?
My venue told me that as we get closer to my date, like 2-3 months out, that we will meet with the maitre d' and go over all the details.
But I had some generic questions after signing the contract that I just called the main line, and who ever answered was able to help me.
