I am pretty much def wearing my friends dress, unless I A. find a dress I love even more or B. come into a giant sum of money. I have promised FH I would look at dresses because he's being weird about me borrowing my wedding dress. I want to drop like 15lbs before I start shopping though (Since I gained it in the last 3 months bla) I still have like a year to find my dress though right?

you can shop for your dress whenever you want! I think you should def start looking maybe a year at least before because i think some girls have said their dress has taken like, 10 months to come in, others shorter..
i myself am probably not going to start looking until next spring, but i am in the meantime just printing out dresses i see online that i like this way i can reference it when i finally go shopping.

I would start next early summer. If could take months to find the dress you love, or what if the dress takes longer to come in. Plus, the summer is the busy season.

i have been looking online casually but i plan on waiting until next spring to actually go try on dresses. im soooo fickle and i know if i order it now i will change my mind 20 times.

I think anytime is a great time! It all depends on the individual. Maybe you just wanna see what's out there, or you could just be on that quest for the dress, it all depends! it's a perk of being a 2010 Bride, you have so many options and there's no rush...well not yet!

I'll probably start looking fall of next year so i have it all locked up by the spring. I've also heard 10 to 12 months to order the dress so I don't want to mess around. That gives me a year to lose the weight I want plus I plan on losing a little bit more while the dress is on order. rather they have to take in. definitely going to look for a dress that will not be affected too much by alterations.

I would say about a year before. Im going to start next Spring and def have it bought by the middle of the summer. I wouldnt wanna wait until the last mintue and then worry I have no dress the day of the wedding
