Do you order favors & order wedding rings 2-3 months in advance?

We ordered our rings three months in advance and ordered the favors two months in advance.

I ordered the favors as soon as I found them - but I wanted something sort of unique.
We just ordered rings for our October wedding so I guess 3 months but we could have waited as long as one month before.

We did approximate on the favors. Maybe order a little extra to be sure

We are getting married next month and we ordered our favors about 5 months ago. We just ordered our rings today but we were a little behind.

i got my favors at the mikasa outlet 1 1/2 yr early (bought them in october), they were having a sale & i couldn't pass it up. I am having approx. 200 people and bought 110 favors. we are getting married in may and going for our wedding bands in march

I found a great deal on part of my favor about 1 year before...it was a super deal ($1.13 for yankee candle pillar holders), but it did limit me, if I saw something else...I finally found the perfect candle to put in them about 4-5 months before the wedding...
We ordered rings about 2 months before...mine was the perfect size, so I got mine right away, but FH had to wait for his to be made...
