ok, I want to pick the Bridesmaid dress colors first, but when do you decide on the flowes? When you book the florist, or closer to the wedding. I'd like to pick sooner, so I defitnely know all teh colors I'm ususing, but I'd have to meet with the florist first, for some ideas.
Do they discuss that with you right away, or is it like the menu, where its done right at the end?

well, I probably won't be booking a florist untill 6 motnhs before , so i guess it will be right about the same time. ( I am only about7 1/2 months away, and have a few major things to do first)

It's good to have an idea of what you like when you meet with florists for the first time, so you can get an idea on price. But you don't actually pick out your exact flowers until a few months before.

we only gave a general idea to to florist when we booked him. Then we're supposed to meet with them next month (2 months before) to make final picks

If you can, I would advise getting the florist done as soon as possible, being that you are already 7 months away. Only b/c florists book up quickly too. Meet with them to discuss your ideas as far as what styles of flowers you want and colors.. This was you can get a quote. You can always switch around towrads the end since the flowers aren't ordered until a couple weeks b4 the wedding. good luck!

Thanks, I just got engaged in November, so I am tryign to so things as fst as pissoble. I'm kidna stuck on Photographers, bands & BM dreses right now, so florists will be next.I'll probably use the Millerisge florist, but I just wnated ot know if I could pick the colors right away, so I could coordinate other things.
