I was thinking min. 2-2.5 months, so that the B list has time to be implemented if necessary.

I plan to send mine out the first week of May with an RSVP of June 15 for my July 29th wedding.

wedding is nov 5th
hotel rooms have to be booked by sept 13th, so i'll probably mail out my invites a month before that. the early cutoff date for the hotel is really throwing me for a loop since i probably wouldn't normally send out invites for a nov wedding in august![]()

my wedding is 10/9/11
prob will send them out august with rsvp date of sept 1st or so

The hotel cut off is 30 days before I believe for us so we will have our RSVP date September 1, gives us 2 weeks to get a hold of ppl if they forgot or haven't booked the hotel room....Also gives me more time to get the OOT bags together, favors, seating chart, place cards...

I think you're fine with August.
I was planning on sending my invites the first week of August with RSVP first week in September b/c 60% of our wedding is OOT.

I'm super anal and have a ton of OOT guests, so if my wedding was 9/2/11, i'd probably send the invites the first week of June, w/ RSVP first week of July. It depends on your situation though.

thats my situation exactly! we both have family coming from out of NY and it is labor day weekend so we want everyone to be there!

all depends on if you have a B list or not,
--I do so Im sending my A list ones first week of March ---3 months before,
--and B list first week of April--2 months before, but my RSVP date is 4/23/11
