Hmmmmm. I would say anywhere in between those 2 dates are good. I think they say anywhere from 6 months to a year.

Yes I agree anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. I know some people are sending them out this january. for summer 2008 weddings.

I would say 6-12 months. No more. Peope move, clean, they may lose your save the date, even if its a magnet.

Our save the dates actually double as our engagement announcements so they will be going out as soon as we get them. It's a little early but who can't use another magnet?
