First week of June gives your guests plenty of time to return the RSVPs

Our wedding is August 11 and the RSVP date is July 7th. When should we mail out the invites?
I was thinking the first week in June...
Thats when I would do it I think. That should give people plenty of time!

About 2 months before. I'd send them out by mid-June.

I think you should send them out the last week of May. This way people have more than a month to respond. I sent mine out almost 2 months before the RSVP date and didn't have to chase very many people.

If it's not too much trouble, I would go with last week in may as well to give folks a little more time. But first week in June should also be fine (sorry I'm non commital)

We are sending out our invitations on June 1, 2007. The RSVP date is August 29, 2007. They more than enough time to RSVP. We need to send them in June because we are going to have a busy summer. Dance Recital Stuff and many family events.

4-6 weeks before your RSVP date. I'm sending my long distance ones this week. The others are going out next week.

I'm all for being early. I can do the last week in May, too.
Trust me, I'll be so excited when I get the call that they are in, it'll be hard not to send them out IMMEDIATELY!
