When do you tip the florist?

When do you tip the florist?

I paid the florist in full two weeks ago, and after I did it I wondered if I should have tipped him. He's not the owner. Should I give the tip to the delivery person to pass on to the florist when the flowers arrive?

I plan on tipping the florist delivery person.
But not the florist.

I would just tip the delivery person. They're bringing you the flowers, the other people you paid already.

Do you know how much we should tip them?

I tipped him $40 because after he brought my flowers to my house, he went to church to decorate for me.

Thanks everyone...I read somewhere (Martha Stewart Weddings maybe?) that the florist gets tipped $30-$50. But I wasn't sure when I should do this.

What about florists who are on site (like for me at Milleridge)? I guess I can do the same to whomever rolls them over to the Cottage?

what if the person you met with at the florist is the owner, and he himself delivers the flowers to make sure everything goes well...do i tip him (i thought you weren't supposed to tip owners?)
