My parents were shocked when I mentioned that the aisle runner will already be in place before everyone walks in.
They said the runner is only for the bride and I have to find people to roll it out right before I walk in.
The thing is, I wanted to decorate the aisle runner...and I don't think the paint or whatever I use will roll up that nicely?
I think i've seen it done both ways....is there actually a right way?

Traditionally it is before the bride walks down the isle. But I think you can do it however you want.

i've never actually seen it rolled out; i think it's just there so i think you can do it either way

Umm I thought it should be ready as the guests come in. I have never seen the aisle runner get installed after the guests come in The BP cant step on it, im confused!!

i dont think it is out when guests come in because it would get ruined and dirty if they were walking on it.
Limo companies would know.. they are the ones who carry them and put them out.

Weddings that I have been to, I swore the runner was there when the guests walked in, the guests had to walk around the other side and not right on the runner bec that section before where the runner starts is closed so the guests cant walk on that

yup call your limo co and ask them! they are usually the ones who supply the runner if you havent purchased your own
