What is usually considered the cut-off age for 'child', I mean, under what age is someone paid for at the children's price? I'm thinking 12 years old? Or does it vary by hall?

This is one of the questions I have to ask my RH. Check with them so you are 100% sure what their cutoff age is.

I think under four is free and five to 13 is half. It should be on your contract or call the hall.

I might have some just over my cutoff age, but if they aren't going to eat the 'adult food' I am going to say they are kids. Do you think someone is really going to check? I hope that is the least of their worries!!!

I think as long as they arent obviously much older and are eating the kids food with most places its ok ...I know with mine the kids do have the option of an adult meal!!

for my RH any child under 12 is 1/2 price. They can have kids meal (ham/cheeseburger or chicken fingers & fries) or they can choose to have an adult meal. Either way the are still 1/2 price. The only kids I am having are the 3 that are in the BP. Other than that NO kids.
ETA: under 4 are free

Well, plus remember that the hall cannot charge you for open bar for anyone under 21... so while they may not be 'children' - they shouldn't be full price either.

It depends on the hall, you need to call them and ask. For us it was children under 12 were half-price, we had 2 that were under 5 and they were free.

They can't possibly check kids Id's? How would they know the difference between an 8 or a 9 year old? I think my hall has 9 and under as a child. I don't have many children coming, but if I do have a 10 year old, I will count him as a child!
