When does baby benefit from Baby Einstein dvd's?

we started playing the einstein music cd's the day she came home from the hospital...
it was very soothing and calming...
the dvd's we started at about 5 weeks
now, at 8 months - she recognizes the dvd covers and 'dances' to the music... she loves, loves, loves baby einstein..

I think they are all suitable from birth on. The music does wonders for their stimulayion!

My niece loves Baby Einstein. I swear it hypnotizes kids. She has been watching it (and is soothed by it) since about 5 weeks.

Sean has loved Baby Bach since 6 weeks. We finally got him interested in Baby Mozart (I mean how many times can ya see the same thing over and over!? - apparently *hundreds* of times for Sean ).

Anyhooo... we've got about 7 of them. They're great!!

We've also got the CD collection which I play for him on his crib CD player at bedtime. Ahhh, he loves it!
