My 2 nieces are my flower girls. By the time of my wedding in November they will be ages 4, and 23 months. I've been holding off on going FG dress shopping because they are so young and inevitably going to grow. But when should I go and order their dresses? I know I can't hold off forever, because it'll most likely take time to order the dresses. Anyone been in a similar situation? When is the latest I should get the dresses?

I have 2 FGs and 2 JBMs in my wedding in August. We are getting their dresses from David's Bridal, and we asked them when we should order the dresses. They told us no less than 3.5 months from my wedding date. My FSIL and my Aunt are taking the kids next weekend to order the dresses so it should work out perfectly. I don't think you need to go yet for a November wedding - maybe towards the end of the summer. Plus, if you go now, they could come out with many new things by the time you're ready to order. HTH

My daughter is my FG and she is 6. I already got her dress, but I got it a size bigger than she is now. When they are small like 23 months, they tend to grow like weeds (lol) , so I would hold off as long as possible.

I bought them a month before the event, so that they could be shipped in time.

It depends on where your getting them from. we got ours from Attias so we bought them about 1 1/2 months before but if you plan on ordering them I would ask the place your ordering how far in advance you need to order them
