Since your wedding is a holiday weekend and mail lately has been funky, I would say 8 weeks before your wedding to give everyone time to respond.

I would say anything from 8-12 weeks prior...I am actually sending my invitations out on January 2nd to allow for 11 weeks...I don't want to send them earlier bc they will get lost with all the holiday cards...

My cousin is getting married Memorial day weekend this year & we received our invitations mid Feb & they have to be back April 1st

Kiddo is getting married the same weekend & I believe she is in the process of sending them out...I am sending mine out at the 1 year mark!
