When is first fitting typically?

When is first fitting typically?

Hey Ladies-

I ordered my dress ages ago from Wedding Salon. My wedding is Sept 13th and they said the dress should be in in May. Do you normally have your first fitting four months before the wedding or do you do it closer to the date? I am dying to see my dress already!

I think my first fitting was 2 months prior to the wedding and then the other two were closer to the date. (I had 3 all together).

My wedding is in May

My first was in late March
Second was last week (april 25th)
Iwill have a 3rd a week before.

My first one was also at the two month mark.
