hurricane season along the east coast begins in june and lasts until november.

I heard September is the worst month for hurricanes, however, you can get very lucky and have great weather (you'll probably get a great price too )

Keep in mind that sometimes the hurricane just causes a few showers.

Hurricane season begins June 1 and ends November 30 but September and October tend to be the busiest months for storms. Last year wasn't bad but they are predicting a bad season this year...although I think they said that last year too and so far we've been lucky.
