start looking asap so you give yourself some time to look at multiple places etc. unless you already know what you want b/c depending on the maker of the dress it could take many months to come in.

o rdered mine in june and it will be in the first week of november. It depends of the maker and the shop. some dresses could take up to 9 months. i would start looking now so if you find something u have time to order it

I would definitely try to order by the end of November the latest, this way that gives you 9 months for it to come in and ample time to get it fitted.

Depends on where you order from and who the designer is....sometimes they take up to 13 months to get in from places. I think EOM dresses take a while. If you plan on going to David's though you can probably buy something off the rack

13 months????? wow that seems really long to me. I have never heard of a dress taking that long!

i agree, you should start looking now. but don't feel rushed!! the only reason to start looking soon is so that you can find out what style dress you want, not even necessarily THE dress. i'm sure you have heard sooo many girls say that they tried on a style they liked but it didn't feel right on them, and they ended up w something completely different. i would just go soon to get an idea of what style looks best on you, that way you can narrow it down and figure out what you are looking for.

i would check how long it has been around for...you never know if a dress can be discontinued. not to scare you just want you to make sure you will be able to get that dress when you are ready. I have a maggie sottero dress thats why i ordered it early. There have been a few time i looked at her dresses then the next day poof they are gone lol. My friend fell in love with a maggie dress and waited like a month to order it and they werent making it anymore. Lucky for her she found a store that still had one and was able to get it. just thought id mention that
