When is the right time to....

send out STD's? I am not sure of the correct time table.

I don't know that there's a 'right time' or 'set time'. It's totally up to you....

We sent ours a year ahead of time - as our wedding STD was also our announcement... It also depends on how many out of town people you have coming....etc. We wanted our OOT people to know ahead of time because we're a winter wedding, less than a month after Christmas, a lot of factors...

for a holida week wedding about 9-12 months. For any other time i would say 7-9

We sent our STDs out 1 year ahead of time.

If you have a lot of OOT'ers, then I'd say at least 9-10 months (Especially if you are sending them to Greece) before. I only have 1 OOT and will send them about 7-8 months before.
