to ask someone to be in your BP? FH and I have a really big bridal party and we asked all our bridesmaids and groomsmen pretty soon after we got engaged (last February). I was always on the fence about asking one of my cousins but didn't want to put him on the spot. Recently, I got the feeling he would have loved to been asked. Is it too late?

I would still ask... at this point what is one more person... and the fact that its a GM rather than BM probably makes it less of an impact as far as the rest of the planning goes... like your shower and dreses and stuff...

Yes, he knows everyone else has been asked. We made a wedding website and my aunt was showing it to him. He texted me jokingly saying he was demanding his pic be on there. He is definitely not the type to be easily offended so I know he was just kidding around but then it got me to thinking that in actuality, I can't imagine him not being up there with my FH, FH's brothers, my brother, etc. on our wedding day.
I was thinking of putting his pic on the website under the list of groomsmen and then calling him and telling him he should take a second look. At that point, do you think it would be weird to explain that even though it's a little late, it would mean a lot for me to have him in our BP??

just imho, i wouldnt do it like this because it might seem to him that you guys felt bad and obligated because of his comment. i would personally ask him in a few days so he doesnt think its only because of his comment.

why did you have reservations about asking him in the first place? is there anything you anticipate that could go wrong? if not, ask away! i'm sure he'll be so happy that you asked.
