when is/was your rehersal (POLL)

i'm curious as to when you all are having your rehersal

i just booked mine for the day before (fri) at 730 but not sure if it would be better to do it thur 2 days before.

We are planning ours for the day before. The RD will be at our house which is really close to the church.

We are getting marrried on Sunday morning so it is to much to do it the night before so we are doing it that Friday night.

I am getting married on Friday and am having it on Wednesday. I like the idea of almost a 2 day event. I am also doing a small brunch on saturday and then we leave for the HM on sunday.
I also thought it was easier for OOT guests to make the thursday than the wed.

we are getting married on the fourth and our rehearsal is the first...i knew i did not want it the exact night before, 2 before would have been fine but my FSIL has a wedding, so we made it 3 days before

I am getting married on a Saturday
My Rehersal dinner will be on a Wednesday so 3 days before

I didnt want to do it the night before because its going to be to much, i want to relax the night before

Ours is the day before. It's an out of town wedding so we don't want guests to take off work, plus I am excited to make a full weekend out of it and i want people to enjoy themselves...if it's during the week then people have work the next day!

Ours is the night before.

We have a few people who are oot and we would like for them to be there, (FFIL, FBIL, my cousin, etc). So it is easier to do it the night before

Im just worried that the day before might be too much being that my ceremony at 1pm the next day, but then if i make it 2 days before then i have to worry about my family from SI coming in and having to go home.

i was worried about this too but we have a lot of OOT bridal party.
I wouldn't worry, personally I think its nice, kind of kicks off the celebration and lets be honest who is sleeping much the night before the wedding anyways.

I don't think it will be too much. I think it will be fun! It's going to be a roller coaster anyway...why not hop on and enjoy! It won't be late...like you are gong to sleep much anyway!! lol

I really wouldnt worry about having it the night before even with the ceremony at 1pm bc no matter how late you are out, u most likely will have a difficult time sleeping with all the excitement the night before anyway.

my ceremony is at 6pm and im worried im not going to be occupied all morning...lol

We are getting married on Saturday and our Rehersal is Thursday.

I have been to weddings where the rehersal was the night before. It was a lot of fine and not a problem at all. The brides just made sure they didn't have too many drinks and went right to bed after.

Ours is the night before. It was easier for us because we have some people comming in from OOT so it was easier . but i know of some that have been 2 days before

Ours is also the night before. We are getting married on a Saturday and the rehersal is on Friday. At six I believe. I was a bit worried with everything being the next day, but we also have quite a few of the BP being OOT guests and wanted them there. Just a thought, If you are worried about it being a late night, is it possible to move the rehersal up to say sixish and then this way the RD won't have to be so late?
