My car has been acting up... It's old and it is time for a new one. I was praying that it would last until Nov. I just put $1200 into it this May. This week my check engine light came on. We took it to the shop and it came back on when I picked it up. My mom offered to sell me her back up car. So I paid her off Monday and then Tuesday my car started to act up again so I had to take back the money for her car to pay to fix my car. It sucks because I just paid my photographer this week. I had a cushion but it seems that my old car is draining it. My credit is max for now. I know my financial situation will be back to normal in a week. (Putting money in savings, paying my mom back and hopefully having 2 cars). It just sucks now because today I'm broke/poor. I knew this day would come with my old car but damn it just sucks to be in it... When it rains, it pours... (Just need to vent)

Sorry that sucks you are going through this while planning your wedding. There is always something. I'm sure things will turn around for you soon.

That sucks! FH had the same problem two months ago and he had to buy a new car using money from our wedding budget! Luckily he had a chance to get some overtime so he was able to make it back, but we were definitely pissed that it died when it did and couldn't hold out a few more months!

Thanks Ladies... It will be ok. Just need to vent... Just have a smaller cushion for extras but it will all happen in time..
