When mailing magnet STD's

When you mail magnet STD's, do you need to put a piece of cardstock or felt in there to prevent it from sticking to the inside of a person's mailbox?

Have any of you NOT done that and had okay results?

I'm lazy and don't wanna if I don't hafta.

when my friend mailed her STD magnets she included a piece of regular computer paper, which had the hotel information & a direction card. she got them from the hotel & RH so it didn't cost her anything extra & didn't take much time.

I didn't. I put the hotel card in only the STD's for my BP and OOT guests, but other than that, nothing. And everyone got them fine.

I asked the post office and they said you do not need to do anything different. That said, I am also including hotel information so i will have an extra piece of card stock in the envelop. I dont think they will get stuck to the inside to the point where they will not see the envelope.

Mine envelopes are 6x6 b/c my magnets are 5x5 so might be different for me since you can't miss the gigantic envelope.

i didn't put anything in them, but my envelopes were lined so that might have helped

i did write 'magnet enclosed' on the back of the envelope...i didn't want to be responsible if someone dropped their mail on their comp and i ended up being responsible for their hard drive being deleted

I ordered from Magnetqueen and they gave me the cleer sleeves to put over the magnet to prevent sticking. If you order from them and say you are a LIW bride they give you the sleeves and the envelopes free

I too will be putting the hotel card in with some, not all of them.

i didnt put anything in there because the envelopes were lined- plus teh magnets i got weren't industrial strength so I doubt they stuck to anyone's mailbox.
