Do you contact the place you are going to donate to (I wanted to do March of Dimes)? Do they send you cards or do you make your own? Do you just send them a lump sum of $$ and then just say a donation was made in honor of your guest or do you send them individual donations for each guest?

We are doing a donation to the Diabetes Association and I called them up and they sent me all the information. I don't think you need to tell them that far in advance-unless you want to get an 'expense' out of the way-but they are going to provide either the scrolls or the tents to put on the tables for the guests to read. i'm sure march of dimes is similar. go to their website-i'm sure all the info is on there!
