Our wedding is July 9th with an RSVP date of June 1. I should have the invitations by April 1. What's the earliest I can mail them?

I would mail them as soon as possible to tell you the truth. I'm mailing mine in September and the wedding is November. By the time you get everything set up for mailing it'll be say..2 1/2 months before hand so I would do it soon. (Or did I mess that up? )

i wouldn't mail them any earlier than 10 weeks before your wedding date --i think 8-10 weeks is fine...

i'm sending mine out april 12th, rsvp may 22nd, wedding day july 3rd!

I think you should be OK with mailing them by April 15th. If it helps, this is how we did ours for a holiday Friday wedding (hoping for no's!)...
Invitations mailed: 3/18/05 (we got ours today, 3/19/05 ) @ 10 weeks before the wedding
RSVP date: 4/18/05 ~ 5 1/2 weeks before wedding
Wedding date: 5/27/05

Thanks everyone. By the time we address the invitations, it'll be mid-April. Looks as though I'm safe mailing them out then.

I am sending them out April 20- response date is June 7th- wedding is a week after yours.

im a really confused here, I was going to do an aug. 1 RSVP, for my 8/20 wedding and now i see Gail has that for sept weddnig any help ladies would be great. I havent ordered my invites yet so, what should i put for the RSVP date and when should they be mailed?TIA

the reason we put an aug 1 date, we know we would have to track down people for the answer. it gives us plenty of time to do the seating chart.
