When shopping around for vendors, do you mention LIW? Either that you saw their add, or that you are a posting member of the community? Do you tell them your screen name? Do you feel that it has gotten you a better deal, or extra perks? So far I haven't mentioned LIW at all, but I'm thinking maybe I should have.

I have mentioned LIW and a few of them LOVE us (especially John from Flower Michele and Rebecca from Favorite Things)

Some vendors will either give you a discount or some free stuff because you mention that you saw them on LIW or they were recommended by a LIW member. If you know a LIW has used them, FM her and ask her what her 'real' name is so that you can tell the vendor who recommended you.

I have definately mentioned LIW! It is a great ice-breaker when talking $$$$. Also, they know that you are going to comparrison shop with the other B2B's, so I feel they are not trying to take advantage...because you are informed bride! It also shows them that their advertising dollars are not being wasted!
