WHEN MOMS THE BRIDE

Mom's getting married March 10th in FL where she lives. Im not srue what kind of a wedding gift I should give her. I DONT want to give her money. I was thinking of maybe a gift certificate to a really nice restaurant or something? What do you think? Any other suggestions?

I would probably get her something sentimental. Maybe a really nice Lenox picture frame for their wedding photo or something like that...

LOL! You know my mom! Her Aunt gave her a gorgeous lenox frame as an engagement gift and she cried over it. But good idea

When my dad got remarried, I felt the same way, didn't want to give money, wanted something sorta special. So my brother and I bought them their toasting flutes, Lenox cake knife and server and a beautiful Lenox picture frame.

are they going on a honeymoon? maybe you can buy them an excursion of some sort. i like the frame idea and maybe a really nice photo album along with it. the people i babysit for have a fancy vase with their names and wedding date on it. she will love anything from the heart!

If you wanted to get them a gift certificate, I'd say go for something more than just dinner .... what about a weekend away?

Maybe a frame with a picture in it of you and her and her FH? Maybe a nice framed poem.

I agree with something sentimental. Perhaps you can make a collage with photos of her and her FH? Or you and her?

Or maybe do her something blue, borrowed, new, old?

You can piggyback on the picture frame idea. Buy one of those frames intended for two pictures. Put a poem or a series of quotes about love and motherhood on one side, a picture of you, your mom, and new stepdad on the other.
