When on your HM, How do you prove?

I hope this isn't a dumb question....if the hotel asks me for proof that i was just married, what can i give them?

our resort gives some incentives to HMers--and ask for proof. don't fret over it!

our TA told us just bringing one of your invitations, or your program from the wedding, or even beverage napkins with your wedding date is usually sufficient. i think an invite and/or program are most common.

I would bring a copy of the invitation for proof that you were just married...

As for proving your identity, I am travelling under my maiden name, just to keep things simple since we're going on our HM right after the wedding...

u dont need proof!
just act all lovey dovey and wear shirts that say bride and groom when checking into your hotels!

I didn't think you needed proof. Our TA indicated that we were honeymooners so the hotels we stayed at already knew before we got there.

That's exactly what we had the travel agent do as well.

i've heard of places asking for an invitation - i don't think that you need anything as official as a copy of your license though!

a lot of people pretend to be on their HMs to get deals so I have heard that some places kind of check

same here, our TA also put on the reservation that we are on our honeymoon
