Ok. My parents are divorced. My mom is not a huge fan of my dad. Hell, I'm not a huge fan of my dad. My mom re-married and my dad is still single. When the parents are walking in the reception does my mom walk in with my step-dad and my dad walk in by himself? These are the little things are are going to give me a headache.

yes i think your mom walks in with your step dad. is there anyone else that can escort your dad? another female relative? if not i think he's fine just by himself.

Re: When parents walk out
I decided against parent introductions because of this. My mom wouldn't walk out with my dad and that bothered me. Anyway, I'm thinking of having the DJ say something like 'Let's all give a round of applause for the parents of the bride, _____and _____, and mother of the groom'. They're introduced, but not walking out.
