When people respond 'No' do they usually

send a present with the response?? what do they do???

So far, I haven't gotten a present with a 'no.' I think the polite thing to do, etiquette wise, is to send a gift just prior to or right after the wedding if you're invited but do not attend, but then I've also heard you can send a gift up to a year later. My guess is, some people will send gifts, and some people won't. If they are genuinely close to you, they'll probably send something.

It depends...I'd say most people would make that decision based on how close he/she is to the couple getting married.

MOst of the no's I got Nada. But some tucked a check in there or a sweet note.

It depends on who is responding. Family might send a gift, whereas, a friend might not.

I guess it depends on the person responding, are they close to you, related, or do they barely know you?

I wouldn't expect anything, and if it comes, then good.

I was just talking abotu this today= as I have not received any no's yet- but my friends told me that they always send a check with their response if it is a no.. I have never RSVPd no to a wedding, but it is good to know for future use-- but this goes to show that peopel out there do it.
