Register for my September 25, 2004 wedding? Should I wait till the new year?

hmmmmm. I think maybe you should start to look at what you like, but I wouldn't register until the new lines come out for nest year. A lot of stuff that is out now might be discontinued in the coming months....JMHO

If your family is like mine, you'll want to register early. People were asking if we were registered the second we got engaged. It is important to keep in mind that items are often discontinued after the holiday season, but you can always update your registry online...

we registered about a year in advance and it was the biggest waste. I am constantly getting emails that something is discontinued(a nice feature to have) FI's mother insisted we register immediately after getting married and I wish we would have waited. However, if you have the time go now. Sorry I am bent on my FMIL tonight. She irked me today !!

I still havent registered yet- mostly b/c I am not registering for a lot of stuff and have been procrastinating however I think it is fine to wait until the new year!

We registered 8 months before the wedding, and I am still adding things to the registries

You can always register and then make changes on line...that's what we did...we still make changes constantly! This way if someone wants to get a gift they can!
