Hello- I need some help. Im not too experienced with all that goes into a wedding (never been in a wedding). When should I start looking for my dress, booking limo,DJ, videographer, photographer, florist.. I already have my hall booked. I figured that was the most important.. My wedding is June 3, 2007.

A lot of the wedding sites have a countdown calendar that will tell you what you should do and when. The Knot and WeddingChannel are both good. I wouldn't worry about the limos for a while but you can start looking for your dress / photographer / florist now! Did your hall recommend any vendors? Also, there are a lot of great vendors on this site! Have you decided how many people are going to be in your wedding party? Did you decide your colors / theme? Wedding planning is FUN so enjoy it!

Hair can wait until after you have picked your dress. The style of your dress can affect how you wear your hair. But I would check into the vendors and start contacting them. Some of the best are already booked!

i booked photo, dj, and hall right away
the sooner you book things, the more choices you have and you dont have to worry about places already being booked up...

Thanks for your replies.. I have been looking around at different vendors, but I guess I better start narrowing down my choices and booking them.. I know its so exciting planning.. I never thought I would be getting married to start.. Thanks again!!

We're getting married July 2007 and we booked the hall, DJ, photographer and videographer so far. The next thing we are going to work on is the flowers. I'm going to start looking for my dress and the BM dresses this summer.
