How long does it usually take for invitations to arrive at your house?

i have always heard 6-8 weeks.. so maybe by late jan early feb.. just in case something isnt perfect

I'm also ordering in january for my august wedding. I'm having one of my bm's do the addresses for me. she does calligraphy and i don't want her to feel rushed.

The invites usually only take a week or so to come in. We're ordering ours in Jan/Feb for our May wedding
