I think mine is about 4 or 5 weeks before the wedding.

I am getting married 11/23. I got a letter in the mail last week and a phone call. I have to set something up this week but have been so crazy trying to get a closing date for house.

My place said I need to tell them the menu 4 weeks before. They may not actually call you.
