its usually only a few days before your big ole day

I'm going a month before only because im OOT but they told me if I wasn't OOT, the fitting would be the week before the the week of the wedding is 'pick up week'

Definietly only go like two or three days before. At the final fitting, everything should be perfect so its more of a 'final try on'. Then if everything is good you take the dress home. So its best to do it just a few days before so the dress isn't hanging around the house for a week.

ETA: And if something isn't perfect at your final fitting they fix it right away so you can take it home.

I just did my first where they pinned it. I go back 27th to make sure and then she will do length (they do this last because taking in can effect the length).

Then I will go one more time about the 13th and make sure. The next week I will pick it up (few days before wedding). They have to press it, don't forget.

That's my plan anyways...you gotta try real hard to stay at weight of last fitting...

mine is 1 week before the wedding

mine is march 26. my wedding is april 10.
