When should I start looking 4 Brides maid dresses

One of my girls is due in Feb with her second baby. I know she wants a little time to loose baby fat. I want her to be a part of the selection. When and how long does it take for the dresses to come in.

What color gos good woth an Ivory dress? I also need Ideas for a color for the summer

I was told 4 months ahead at least.

If she loses weight, find a good tailor who will be able to take the dress down two sizes and make it look like new. I wouldn't wait too long to buy.

I would say 6 months - only because then it gives you time to really look... plus, you want to make sure that you give them enough time to get in to the shop.

It can take 4 - 6 months to come in and they need time to alter it - I'd look now!

I agree.... For August, Time to start... You need some time to select if it is important to you... I have went back to the store like 3 times already!

For my Sept wedding, I got my dresses in Nov. but it tool me until December to get all my girls' measurements and deposits. I say, for Aug, start now = the tailors can easily take the dress in if you friend loses weight. Good luck!
