I'm getting married next July but I definitely want a good make-up artist. Should I start looking now? Or can I wait til the fall? Thanks!

I scheduled over a year in advance. Jacqueline Nicole books up very fast, so I booked her on the spot about a year prior to my wedding date.

HA HA!!! My name is Stacy and I am totally obsessed...keep that in mind. My first one is Saturday and my wedding is a little over a year away. I just wanna know. I also go to school at night and work during the day so this summer I am hoping to do everything.

I'm booking trials now for my September 2005 wedding - I am so impatient and I don't want to miss out on my makeup artist.

Well, it looks like I need to get going on this then, huh? Thanks ! Are there any 'must see' artists? I'm very into makeup, so I don't mind paying for someone good. I've heard good things about Maureen Pedalla, Laura Geller, Oksana, Jacqueline Nicole--anyone else to add?

Re: When should I start scheduling make-up trials?
I am going to meet with my new best friend Lorenzo for a trial on August 4th. He is so cute, I just want to bring him home with me. The only reason I am going so early is b/c I already have an appointment with him that day for my eyebrows. And I know what the next question i...my blonde ESP has kicked in. I am getting a hair trial on August 31 with Jenn the Hair Genie. Why so early? Because I am OCD!!

I would starts ASAP because alot of the popular ones already booked. I booked my makeup artist and had my trail about 14 months before my wedding.

This is the same exact situation I had. What are you going to school for if you don't mind me asking?
My make up and hair trial were both a month ago.

Re: When should I start scheduling make-up trials?
No time like the present! I started mine last month...have gone on trials with 3 people: 1 makeup and hair (hated it) another for hair (so-so) and another for makeup (hated it) I am picky, so I am gonna keep going until I find someone i like....
