Really? And you dress isn't in already? I don't know where you ordered from, but I ordered mine from David's Bridal and they told me 3 months when I put the order in. It came in a month and a half later. Just my opinion, but you may want to call your boutique and ask for an update. Maybe they were inundated with orders and fell a little behind. Or maybe they forgot to call you about it being ready for you.
Wait until you actually pick it up. One of my bridesmaids went with me to get it and we both started crying again when we opened the bag!

I ordered my dress in end of Jan or beginning of Feb of 05 and it took 9 months to make.

I was antsy too, but you really do have time. We planned our wedding in less than 9 months. I ordered my dress the beginning of April and it didn't come in until the end of September. I didn't have my first fitting until 4 weeks before the wedding.

they said (Paradise Bridal) that mine won't be here until 8 weeks before the wedding.

I ordered my dress in July, and I have nothing yet. I don't want it, I need to loose at least 10lbs, I have already lost 2 lbs.
You should get it in Feb or March.

I ordered mine in July because it's a Maggie and because of the style they make it for your height so they said 6-8 months. It has been 6 and I am very antsy but they said something like because my wedding is not until Sept it is not priority so it might take longer. Anyone heard of this? What difference does my wedding date make? I paid the same price- make my dam dress

I ordered mine in the beginning of May and its not in yet. They won't even tell me when they expect it. I am getting very angry with the whole situation.

I ordered mine in April and they said it could take up to 12 months to come in. I think some designer take longer than others. My FSIL was waiting and waiting for her dress by the same designer and it only came in a couple of weeks before her wedding. She was nervous but it finally came in.
