When should the guys go for their Tuxes?

Is January too late? That gives them like 7 weeks??

Hmmm, I don't think it's too late- but men have a way of procrastinating so start telling them at about 9 weeks and they'll have it done by the seven week mark. Just speaking from experienceI asked FH to do 2 things for our E party- order the napkins and buy me a red garter- he forgot to give me the garter and I ordered the napkins myself.

My guys went already... well half
The others still have to get measured. I wanted to get it out of the way before the holidays b/c everyone will be so busy and I wanted to make sure they all got it done before then.

Our wedding is in august and one place told us to look in may

Havent given it too much thought, but since the wedding is in September I will probably ask them to go in June.

New styles come out in Feb/MArch but of course that is too late for you.

Contrary to popular belief you can do this earlier that the shops suggest. My dad is handicapped and it is very difficult for him to walk in the rain and forget about the snow. Even though my wedding isn't until July 4th I already had him measured. If this winter is anything like last winter he won't be able to leave the house again until late April.

I'll pick out the style in Feb and tell the guys to go get measured then.

They said for the guys to come in 4 months before to pick out what they liked and try all the styles on and then come back 2 months before to order.

you really need to order them further in advance when you have out of state groomsmen.....we ordered the tuxes end of september...and our wedding is january...we have 2 people out of state and they needed to get their measurements (from their local tuxedo shop to our tuxedo shop)

I am getting married in September and I was told June but I definitely agree with the other brides when it comes to men the sooner the better because they tend to procrastinate

I think like 3 months is a good time to go

Last wedding I was in they went like 3 weeks or less before, but that was majorly pushing it. I think a month or two is ok.
